Clearcorrect

ClearCorrect is a brand of clear plastic aligners used to straighten teeth. Unlike metal braces, the aligners are flexible and transparent. At Mark Lowe DDS, each aligner is made to fit your teeth exactly and is worn for about two weeks before being replaced by the next aligner. The total number of aligners a patient uses depends on the orthodontist’s treatment plan. The treatment process is completed when the teeth are straightened to the satisfaction of the treating orthodontist.

Because they’re made of transparent plastic, these aligners are virtually invisible. They’re also removable, so patients can take them out to eat and clean their teeth, unlike regular braces. The aligners can also be removed while in public, such as on a date or at a special event. This allows for greater self-confidence among those wearing a clear-aligner system than traditional braces. In addition, the fact that these aligners can be removed makes it easy for patients to brush and floss normally, whereas braces could make it difficult to clean hard-to-reach places in the mouth.

Aligners are also a good option for those whose teeth are irregularly shaped, widely spaced, have small gaps, or are overcrowded. They are also a good option for patients with minor bite issues, such as crossbites or underbites, as long as the bite is not too severe.
