Mark A. Lowe, D.D.S.
Dr. Mark Lowe is a teacher, speaker, and orthodontic specialist. He is the Attending Orthodontist for the General Practice Residency at Community Regional Medical Center, UCSF – Fresno. The GPR is one of the only programs that certifies its residents in the use of ClearCorrect and Invisalign.
Dr. Lowe has been providing orthodontic treatment to Central Valley patients for over 25 years. In 1999, Dr. Lowe began providing clear aligners to Central Valley patients. He was the first certified aligner orthodontist in the Central Valley and has been involved with several aligner companies in product research and development. Dr. Lowe regularly lectures and teaches general dentists and orthodontists, nationally and internationally, on the use of aligner therapy.
Dr. Lowe attended Stanford University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of California at San Francisco and also completed his orthodontic residency at UCSF. He maintains both a private practice and a pediatric group practice in Fresno, California. As an orthodontist, Dr. Lowe strives to provide outstanding treatment with exceptional customer service. Dr. Lowe’s smile transformations have been recognized for award-winning clinical excellence. Many results have been published in books and used in instructional lectures and videos.
In his spare time, Dr. Lowe coaches volleyball at the high school, college, and professional levels.

Todd Walkow, DMD
Dr. Todd Walkow was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. In 1992 he graduated from the University of California Irvine where he received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Anthropology. He then traded in his surfboard for a winter coat and headed to Boston, MA to attend Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. While at Tufts, Dr. Walkow served as Class President for all four years and became an avid New England Patriots fan. He graduated and gave the class commencement speech in May 1996. He then moved across town with his golden retriever, Orion, to attend Harvard University to start his orthodontic residency. Upon admission, he received a research grant and was concurrently admitted to the Harvard Public Health School where he received an MS in Epidemiology. Although Dr. Walkow had developed a deep love for New England, he returned to California to be close to his family that summer.
In January 2000, Dr. Walkow became the owner and operator of Walkow Orthodontics in Newport Beach, CA, specializing in orthodontic treatment of both children and adults. He developed a reputation as a regional specialist in treating advanced bite issues and problems with the jaws, including ones requiring orthognathic surgery and children with Cleft Lip/Palate.
Dr. Walkow was also one of the earliest adopters of Invisalign (self-proclaimed: OG) in Southern CA and has treated several thousand patients with clear aligners.
Dr. Walkow’s professional journey has also included significant contributions to organized dentistry. He served for 8 years on the Board of Directors for the California Association of Orthodontists (CAO) concluding his last term as President.
After 20 years in practice, Dr. Walkow made the conscious decision to take his experience on the road and work as a contract orthodontist where he could focus solely on patient treatment and experience. When Dr. Walkow is not in the office you will likely find me reading, doing a crossword puzzle, listening to music, meditating, swimming, taking a long walk or hike, cooking, or spending time with close friends and family.
